Jasmine Li – Laureate – Young Artist 2024
Violinist Jasmine Li started to learn violin at age 9. She currently studies under Varty Manouelian and Margaret Lysy. In the past years, Jasmine won multiple competitions including the Vivaldi International Music Competition with Absolute First Prize; Exceptional Technique Special Prize in the “Young Artist” Catagory; American Protégé International Music Talent Competition,the Paris International Music Competition, European Music Competition, CAPMT State Finals Concerto Competition, and AADGT International Young Musicians Competition. She also appeared on the Gilharmonic show as a featured guest. Jasmine has been part of the Colburn Chamber Music Institute for two years. She is also a member of the American Youth Symphony. Jasmine started piano at age 6, and her accomplishments include being a Panel Extinguished Honor Finalist of the MTAC Certificate of Merit. Winning first place in the CAPMT Sonata/Sonatina Piano Competition and the Elite International Music Competition, and winning second place in the CAPMT Concerto competition and in the CAPMT Contemporary Competition.
