Divisions

Chicago Violin Competition (CVC) is a premier International Violin Competition. Open to violinists ages 7–28, CVC gives talented musicians from around the world the opportunity to perform before an international jury, gain worldwide recognition, and share their artistry on a global stage. To ensure fair evaluation, contestants compete in one of two age divisions:

Young Artist

Ages – 7-17yrs – Designed for talented violinists who are ready to perform on an international stage. 

Senior Artist
