YOUNG ARTIST
The Young Artist Division of the Chicago International Violin Competition is dedicated to nurturing and celebrating the musical talent of young violinists. Participants are able to showcase their skills through video performances submitted online. CVC provides a supportive and encouraging environment where young musicians can gain valuable performance experience, receive constructive feedback from renowned judges, and be inspired by their peers on the world’s stage.

CVC RESULTS
Results are Announced on CVC’s Social Media 3-5 weeks after the Competition Date

- Eligibility – Chicago International Violin Competition Young Artist Division contestants must be between ages 7-17 on the competition date, no exceptions. All previous contestants, outside of the 1st prize winner are eligible to compete
- No contestants will be enrolled in the competition before the registration fee is received. After registration, there are no refunds for cancellation or videos not submitted by the competition date
- CVC reserves the right to accept or deny any contestant’s material based on merit and eligibility. Contestants not meeting CVC performance standards will not advance beyond the preliminary round, and their performances will not be featured on the CVC YouTube channel or social media platforms
- All Performances can be viewed on CVC’s YouTube and Facebook Pages
